Blanche Nevile staff run additional lunchtime clubs which include sports clubs and gymnastics. Our pupils join their partnership school friends during weekly KAOS signing choir sessions.
The children also have the opportunity to join an interesting variety of after school clubs either run by Highgate Primary School or by outside providers. Ballet, Newspaper Club, football and gymnastics are just a few of the clubs offered.

Breakfast Provision - Secondary
At Blanche Nevile School, we understand that many of our pupils travel long distances to school and often have very early starts to their day. Some children may not have had breakfast before leaving home, while others may feel hungry again by the time they arrive at school.
To support our pupils’ wellbeing, concentration and readiness to learn, we offer a breakfast provision for all pupils from 8:00am to 8:30am each morning.
Our breakfast club is open to everyone and provides a healthy breakfast, including bagels with a choice of spreads. This is run by a team at Blanche Nevile. This helps ensure pupils start the day feeling settled, energised and ready to learn.
We believe that access to a nutritious breakfast is an important part of creating the best possible conditions for learning. By offering breakfast to all pupils, we aim to ensure that every child has the opportunity to begin their school day positively, regardless of their morning routine or journey to school.
Breakfast time also provides a calm and welcoming start to the day, allowing pupils to socialise with friends and staff before lessons begin.
At Blanche Nevile, we are committed to removing barriers to learning and supporting the health, wellbeing and success of every child.
After School Clubs
At Blanche Nevile School, we recognise that our pupils come from across London and often spend a significant amount of time travelling to and from school each day. For many children, attending traditional after-school clubs would mean arriving home very late, reducing valuable time with family and opportunities to rest and recharge.
To ensure all pupils can access a rich programme of enrichment activities, we have designed our clubs offer to take place during the school day. A range of clubs are available during lunchtime and break times, allowing pupils to develop new skills, pursue their interests and spend time with friends without extending their school day.
We also have a special Friday Club session at the end of the school day before home time. This dedicated enrichment time enables pupils to take part in a variety of enjoyable activities, helping them to build confidence, develop talents and strengthen friendships within our school community.
Our clubs programme changes throughout the year and reflects the interests and needs of our pupils. Activities may include sports, arts and crafts, cooking, technology, games, performing arts, wellbeing activities and opportunities to celebrate Deaf culture and identity.
We believe that enrichment is an important part of every child's education. By delivering clubs within the school day, we can ensure that all pupils have equitable access to these opportunities, regardless of where they live or how far they travel.
